Chocolate Zucchini Cake


½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup oil
1 ¾ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup sour milk (add 1½ tsp vinegar to milk to sour)
2 eggs
2½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
4 tbl unsweetened cocoa
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
2 cups diced or shredded zucchini
6 oz pkg chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325. Grease & flour a 13” pan.  In a large bowl cream together butter, oil & sugar. Add eggs, vanilla & milk to mixture, beating until well blended. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Gently and gradually stir in the zucchini to avoid crushing. Spoon into pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 45-60 minutes.
